Be part of a World Record skydive
On Monday 4th June, we are attempting to break the World Record for tandem jumps in one day. 
This stands at 130 jumpers set last year. We are aiming to smash it with a massive 200 jumpers.

4PARA Exercise Just Walk
Following their epic 20 and 40 mile South Downs walks in 2011, 4PARA will be tabbing 26 miles across the Three Peaks Yorkshire on Saturday May 12th.
These are the highest peaks in Yorkshire. Participants will climb each in turn.
• Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres, 2,277 ft)
• Whernside (736 m, 2,388 ft)
• Ingleborough (723 m, 2,372 ft)
The total distance walked is estimated at 37/41 kilometres (23/26 miles), with a total ascent of 5,249 feet (1600 m).

2PARA Major in US mountain bike bid
Major Jon Cox will compete self-supported in the gruelling 2745 mile Tour Divide Ride by mountain bike from Banff, Canada to the Mexican border in June.
This epic venture, kindly supported by sponsors, will raise funds for the charity.

4PARA 4×4 Europe rally
A 4 PARA team takes part in the 2012 H4H 4×4 Rally through iconic WW2 locations in Europe.
The team will include at least one wounded soldier.

3PARA Jack World Title bid
Paratrooper and current British middleweight MMA champ, Jack Marshman’s world title shot against the vastly experienced BAMMA World champion Tom “Kong” Watson ended in the 2nd round.
The fight topped the bill at BAMMA9 at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham.

Falklands 30th Anniversary Talk
Peter Kennedy, C Company 2 PARA in 1982, will talk on Goose Green, the first decisive land battle of the Falklands War.

Para Elvis sings for you
Sgt Dave ‘Para Elvis’ Walker won Best Newcomer at the European Elvis Championships at the Hilton Metropole, NEC, Birmingham, January 2012.
Dave, 3PARA, currently with 4PARA, won the European Elvis Masters at his first attempt last year. He is using his big moment to help ParaCharity. A Gala Dinner, raffle and auction were all successful in raising funds and Dave received standing ovations.
